CONVENIO DE COOPERACION



On April 22, 2008, a cooperation agreement between the University of Panama and Spay/Panama was signed.  This represents a superb outlook to improve the welfare of more animals and a great training opportunity for vet students.  Shown from left, Dr. Manuel Lasso, Dean of the Veterinary School; Dr. Gustavo Garcia de Paredes, Chancellor of the University of Panama; Patricia Chan, Founder of Spay/Panama; Dr. Isis Johnson-Brown, Director of Spay Panama's Animals Yes USA; Dr. Letty de Guajardo, Medical Director of Spay/Panama.  This agreement was the result of the dedication and efforts of Dr. Rene Guajardo, professor of Anatomy at the University of Panama.




Reconocimiento

Kudos to Marleny Nuņez, Jose Sanchez Chen, and Zeuxis Arcia, senior students of the Vet School for coordinating the Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) of 7 cats at the Curundu campus on April 3, 2008.
                                      
                                   




Under the direction of Dr. Rene Guajardo and the assistance of Spay/Panama, a group of students from the Veterinarian School trapped cats on June 14, 2007, at the Curundu campus to be spayed/neutered and released back.
