animals (143 dogs and 30 cats) were sterilized at this event.
This brings the total animals sterilized by Spay/Panama in the
area of Gorgona, La Ermita, El Higo and San Carlos to 1,283.
Spay/Panama
uses the Quick Spay Method, which includes early sterilization (less
than one pound), small incision and use of stainless steel suture
because it is strong and non-reactive. People and pets came from neighboring communities.
Spay the Strays offered free transportation.Working together to make a difference.
The

wounds and infections, given an injection of vitamins, spray or dusted
for fleas and ticks. All dogs over 3 months old were given a
rabies vaccine.
