MARCH FOR WORLD PEACE AND NON-VIOLENCE WORLD ANIMAL DAY
Spay/Panama, Los Angeles de los Animales and the people of Emberá
Purú adhered to the World March for Peace because of the shared
interests between the march and the Universal Declaration for Animal
Welfare, such as non-violence, and respect for all life forms.
Emberá
Purú was selected as the point for the march because more than 80% of
the dog and cat population of the communities of Purú, La Bonga
and San
Juan Rural, at the banks of San Juan de Pequení River were sterilized,
dewormed and vaccinated against rabies at their request.

Peace
and non-violence begin with each one of us. We have to be
tolerant and respect other customs. Treat your brother as you
want him to treat you.....nothing more needs to be said....this says it
all.
World
leaders: you have the responsibility for the future of
mankind....or we have a world for all or a world terrified, a
bountiful world or a contaminated wasteland.
