SAN PABLO, CHILIBRE
On November 16, 2008, with the coordination of CEMEX, Divine Grace Church and residents of San Pablo, 136 animals were operated, dewormed and treated by Spay/Panama.  The coordination included the involvement of the elected official Quibian Panay Gonzalez, unfortunately, at the very last minute, the elected official did not come through with his promises and left the animals without vaccines, the residents without tents and the Spay/Panama team without lunch, just because he was not allowed to put up tents with political ads.  His office knew in advance of this requirement of no political ads and they were going to get the tents from the Municipio.

The animals were operated, dewormed, had their ears cleaned, sprayed against fleas and tickets and given an injection of vitamins.  Total collected for the 136 animals treated was $99.46 or $0.73 per animal.  Thank God that we still had surgical supplies bought with the generous grant of D. Reuben and MRF.  Help us reach more communities to put a stop to the large number of animals that roam homeless, hungry and sick. Your contribution is tax deductible.

Cemex made available a pickup to transport the animals.

I picked up my puppy from the garbage dump and now she will have a long happy life and will not bring to this world more puppies that will end up in the garbage
