Dr.
Nadje Segundo and her department from the Health Ministry, under the
direction of Dr. Algis Torres, Director of the San Miguelito Regional
Area, came up with a drawing and essay contest on responsible pet
ownership to promote:
The contest took place among several elementary schools in the San Miguelito area.
We were honored to be sponsors of this pro-active activity for the benefit of the animals and the community
- Proper animal care and control to protect public health and safety.
- Build character, responsibility, self reliance and self esteem in children through teaching responsible pet care.
- Prevent cruelty to animals.
- Reduce number of people bitten by animals.
